Some of my projects at SCAD
Here's some links to my SCAD blog where you can see some of the projects I've been doing, mostly in my design class. Let's see if I can figure out this linking thing!
ABCs and 123s problem where I had to find the alphabet and the numbers 1-9 naturally or accidentally happening in the world around me. (It's mostly branches and tree bark!)
Found Patterns, for this project I had to walk around the building and find patterns in things, accidental, on purpose...just whatever patters caught my attention.
Scavenger Hunt, this project was a blast, I never really liked scavenger hunts before but for some reason I liked this one a lot. I had to drive all over town to find a matchbook, but I also found some different answers to some of the other things because of it, so it was worth it! (Also, my mom got a job while we were walking around! Two birds, one stone!)
Black Square Problem was earlier in the quarter. We had to, only using black squares, represent 6 words. We could use whatever media we wanted and the background could be anything, as long as the final outcome what a square. The easiest way I could think of to do this was by using instagram! (I will admit I have become an instagram addict over the past month since I've had it...but I'm OK with that!)

Business Plan Idea
Hey everyone! I have been thinking about this for a long time now, but have just decided to put into written form the idea in hopes of making it a more solid plan, and getting other people's thoughts on it. OK? Here goes:
My idea is to start up a network of photographers in cities across the US (and maybe one day: THE WORLD!!) that can be hired by families on vacations to do vacation family pictures. The idea is that the whole family can be in the pictures AND the pictures will be professional quality and they can get candid pictures, which I always find to be more genuine and authentic. The network would be called Vacation Stalkers. I know it sounds like a bad thing, but I think that would make people find it more humorous and would make the word of mouth spread better. I have yet to find out how to do this, but I would think that I would do it like a franchise and have a pre-written business plan and all the licenses and other qualifications that would be needed then whoever would be interested in joining the network could buy into the name and receive all of the needed info. In addition to all of the business aspects they would also get the official Vacation Stalkers logo for stickers/tee shirts and all that.
So...tell me what you think, ask questions, rip it a new one, whatever! All comments are welcomed and appreciated! Thanks!
